My sales person was very helpful and well informed about each car on the lot. Being a first time VW buyer I was overwhelmed with questions and concerns about each style if VW. The last time I bought a new car was in 1993 from a Honda dealership in Houston. They are no longer in business for good reason. I had to struggle mentally between just walking out, or deciding whether or not 20-life was worth killing the Finance manager over. I swore I would never buy a new car again.

Rod East and his crew made me feel like a king. I got the red carpet treatment the entire time. I truly feel like I got much more car for the exact price I had hoped to pay. He made the 3 hour drive from Houston to San Antonio worth the trip. I truly believe I got the best VW deal in the State of Texas, and would not consider buying a new car anywhere else BUT from Rod.

I was helped by John over the phone and he was wonderful. I told him I didn't have much flexibility but I was worried about my car and he squeezed me in and had the technicians run diagnostics on my car. He explained the whole process and brought a technician to help me understand what was happening. I am extremely happy with my visit and feel very comfortable leaving my car in their hands.

Julio provided the most relaxed and non-pressured help I've ever received when buying a new car.  He was most helpful and pleasant when dealing with questions and he was very knowledgeable. I felt I got the best deal and he worked with me to obtain that.  I will send customers to him from now on.  Rod East Rocks! I've been spoiled and will probably get all my future car dealings with Rod East.

I was driving 8 hours to the San Antonio airport and had a loud noise in the exhaust. Not only did Rod East VW allow me to drop my car off immediately, but they also took me to the airport. Soloman, the Service Advisor was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. He was able to put my family at ease that I would be able to drive the car and that was priceless! I can’t say enough about this dealership. We are moving from New York to the San Antonio area and will definitely be using Rod East for our servicing needs and to possibly purchase a new VW in the future. It is so nice to know that finding a dealership is one thing we can check off our list.

We were very impressed with Rod East dealership from our first contact by phone to inquire which models they had in stock. We came from 2 1/2 hours away to buy a Volkswagen for a college graduation gift for our daughter.

The sales rep, Jose was very knowledgeable about the different models and patient with us as we tried to pick the best vehicle for our daughter. We have bought many cars over the years and had never had a salesperson who knew so much about the vehicle he was selling. He however was not pushy , which made my day, as I very much dislike pushy salesmen.

The paperwork aspect of the sale went well also. The woman who helped us was our original contact on the phone. She explained everything, but again was not pushy which was very refreshing.
Overall our experience was great, so much so, that when it is time for Mom to get a new car, we will probably return to Rod East.
